Rite Aid has a new set from City Color Workshop. They seem to not have names, unfortunately. L.A. Colors black, and Sally Hansen 'in the spotlight' accompany the shimmery hot pink.

Stripes seem to be a favorite of mine lately.

Today, I decided to try something a little different - every nail a different color. It may not be spring, but I thought pastels would go well with gold glitter.

From thumb to pinkie: franken purple, franken yellow, Hard Candy 'sky', Sally Hansen 'poetic peony', and L.A. Colors white. Over top of that I used both Sally Hansen 'diamonds' and Elf 'golden goddess' glitters.

Well, that's it for now. Later days!

Been a while, yes. I'm patiently waiting for my nails to grow out a bit more, but here's what I've been sporting for a couple days now.

It's a franken consisting of Sinful Colors 'secret admirer' and 'love bite' in a Sally Hansen bottle that still had a small amount of black in it.

Well, that's about it for now. Until next time, later days!

Back, back, back!

Been on vacation, come back home. Yes, I've been neglectful of here. I've got a ton of new stuff, and I'll get around to taking photos of them soon. For now, here's a little backlog.

I saw a similar manicure on another nail blog, and I thought the 'accent nail' looked really cool, so I decided to try it out.

I used two coats of the unnamed Rimmel London purple, and two coats of a grey somewhat glittery franken I have had for a bit of time. Over top I used Sally Hansen's 'diamonds'. Black and purple seems to be a recurring theme here. I don't know why. I just like them together.

Well, until next time, later days!

I loveded you...

While lurking the mall, I found in Hot Topic's clearance section a whole bunch of Nickelodeon's Invader Zim Gir nail polishes. They were all marked down to 98 cents, so I couldn't pass it up.

An unnamed blindingly bright yellow. I compared it to the Milani neon, and it is a whole lot brighter, even in one coat. Very crazy. On top, I used Sally Hansen 'blue it' and Konad plates m60 and m13.

Today I went and bought a couple new Shrek polishes by OPI I cannot wait to try them out.

Until next time, later days!

Milani 3D Holographic Take III

The last Milani 3D holographic I had bought a while ago called 'cyberspace'.

I absolutely love this one! I first put on two coats of Sally Hansen natural (which came from an old French manicure kit), and then three coats of cyberspace. It was good in one coat, but since I am a bit on the clumsy side, I bumped my nails a few times, so I just layered it over. Oh well.

Until next time, later days!

Maybelline 'Pie in the Sky'

On a recent buying spree, I got sucked into a sugary sweet looking display by Maybelline. It's the new spring collection. Today I have on 'Pie in the Sky'.

I used three coats, and it was for the most part, opaque. On top, I used Konad's special polish in white with plate m60, and Sally Hansen 'celeb city' with plate m11. The blue has a sweet spring feel to it, but it also reminds me of winter at the same time. Very lovely.

From the same collection, I bought 'bubble pink', but do not have any photos of that yet. Maybe soon I will take some. Until next time, later days!

Och Aye!

I was a little inspired by Craig Ferguson.

I used Sinful Colors 'black on black' as the base. It is the most fabulous black I've encountered! One coat was perfectly opaque. I used Konad plate CO3 for the terrier with Sally Hansen 'celeb lights', and M60 for the tartan and Sally Hansen 'emerald city'. It unfortunately does not show up too well. I was quite disappointed. The green is far too deep. The seche top coat I used did bring it out a bit, but not as much as I had hoped. Oh well.

Until next time, later days!

Today I have to show off the ever-popular cheap brand, Wet 'n Wild. I picked this polish up at a new Wal-Mart in town this past week.

The name is "night prowl". It's a black base with purple glitter in it. That photo is two coats. Once dry, it feels a little rough, but a top coat of seche vite smooths it out a bit, though still with a touch of roughness. On the thumb, middle, and pinky, I used Konad plate m60 and used Sally Hansen "celeb lights".

I know I am not very good at painting my nails. Maybe one day I will get better at it. Stay tuned for tomorrow and future posts!
